Tropical Group Bali’s CSR Blood Donation Drive with PMI Bali Province collected 50 registrants, plus free health and eye check-ups.
Bali, Indonesia – July 10, 2026 – As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to creating a positive impact on the community, Tropical Group Bali successfully organized a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bali Province. Held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Tropical Group Head Office, the event brought together employees, business partners, and members of the local community to support a life-saving humanitarian initiative.
The CSR program attracted 50 registered participants, demonstrating strong enthusiasm for giving back to the community. Following the mandatory health screening conducted by the professional medical team from PMI Bali Province, 38 blood bags were successfully collected and will help replenish blood supplies for hospitals and healthcare facilities across Bali.
The event reflects Tropical Group Bali’s dedication to promoting community well-being while encouraging a culture of compassion, volunteerism, and social responsibility.
A Meaningful CSR Initiative for the Bali Community
Corporate Social Responsibility is an essential part of Tropical Group Bali’s values. Beyond delivering excellence in business, the company believes in making meaningful contributions to society through sustainable community engagement programs.
The Blood Donation Drive, held on July 10, 2026, represents one of Tropical Group’s CSR initiatives aimed at supporting public health and addressing the ongoing demand for blood donations in Bali. Every unit of donated blood has the potential to save multiple lives, making each donor’s contribution invaluable.
By partnering with PMI Bali Province, Tropical Group ensured that the entire donation process met the highest medical and safety standards. Participants completed registration, blood pressure checks, hemoglobin testing, and medical assessments before being approved to donate.
Although not every registered participant met the donation requirements, each individual’s willingness to participate highlighted the growing awareness of the importance of blood donation within the community.
38 Blood Bags Successfully Collected
Out of the 50 registered participants, 38 individuals successfully donated blood, resulting in the collection of 38 blood bags. These blood donations will be distributed through PMI Bali Province to hospitals and medical centers where they are urgently needed for surgeries, emergency treatments, accident victims, cancer patients, and individuals living with chronic illnesses. The successful collection of 38 blood bags demonstrates the power of collaboration between the private sector, healthcare organizations, and the community in supporting public health initiatives.
Free Health Check-Up for All Participants
In addition to the blood donation program, Tropical Group Bali expanded the CSR event by offering free health check-ups for everyone attending the event. Participants had the opportunity to monitor their overall health through basic medical examinations, including blood pressure measurements and general health assessments. These services encouraged attendees to become more proactive in maintaining their health and identifying potential health concerns at an early stage.
Providing free health screenings aligns with Tropical Group’s mission of promoting healthier lifestyles and increasing public awareness of preventive healthcare.
Free Eye Examination Adds More Value
To make the CSR program even more beneficial, Tropical Group Bali also provided free eye examinations for participants.
Vision health is often overlooked despite being essential to daily life and workplace productivity. Through this initiative, participants were able to receive preliminary eye screenings while gaining valuable information about maintaining healthy vision.
The combination of blood donation, free health check-ups, and complimentary eye examinations created a comprehensive community health event that delivered benefits beyond the primary objective of donating blood.
Strong Community Participation
The positive response from employees and community members contributed significantly to the success of the event. The registration of 50 participants reflected the community’s willingness to support humanitarian causes and demonstrated the growing culture of volunteerism within Bali.
While medical eligibility requirements meant that only 38 participants were able to donate blood, everyone who attended played an important role in raising awareness about the importance of blood donation and preventive healthcare.
The event also strengthened relationships between Tropical Group Bali, PMI Bali Province, and the local community, reinforcing the value of collaboration in creating lasting social impact.
Tropical Group Bali’s Commitment to Sustainable CSR
Tropical Group Bali remains committed to integrating Corporate Social Responsibility into its business operations through programs that create meaningful and measurable benefits for society.
The Blood Donation Drive is one example of how the company seeks to contribute to community welfare while encouraging employees and stakeholders to participate in activities that improve lives. Beyond supporting blood availability, the event promoted healthy living, preventive healthcare, and community engagement.
Through initiatives like this, Tropical Group aims to inspire more organizations to participate in CSR programs that address real community needs and strengthen social solidarity across Bali.
Appreciation to All Partners and Participants
Tropical Group Bali extends its sincere appreciation to PMI Bali Province, the dedicated medical professionals, volunteers, organizing committee, employees, business partners, and every participant who contributed to the success of this CSR initiative on July 10, 2026.
Their collective support made it possible to collect 38 blood bags, provide free health check-ups, and offer free eye examinations, creating a meaningful impact for both participants and the wider community.
Looking ahead, Tropical Group Bali is committed to continuing its Corporate Social Responsibility journey by organizing more community-focused initiatives that promote health, compassion, and sustainable development. Through partnerships and shared commitment, the company believes that even a single act of kindness—such as donating blood—can make a life-changing difference for someone in need.
